I know I said I was going to wait a couple of days but I thought I would jump in very briefly and talk about politics for a second. I have never been very political and, by most standards, still remain fairly neutral about the subject however, I've been thinking about one thing during the last couple of weeks with all the conventions and whatnot: does anyone else think something's not right if a country of 250 million people can choose a leader by just over 500 votes? Regardless of who wins, at least half of the "voting" public is going to be pissed off about it. Shouldn't we try to find a candidate who at least a sizeable majority of the people want to win. I'm not asking for 90% but what about 60%?
In all the hundreds of thousands of politicians in the county, can't we find two more likeable people or even one?
